Our Communion: United in Apostolic Truth
The Anglican Vicariate is a canonical jurisdiction within the Orthodox Archdiocese of America, synodally administered under the omophorion of Presiding Metropolitan ++Rogelio of Manila and Luzon and in communion with the Holy Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church in the Philippines.
The Orthodox Archdiocese of America is a full member of the World Federation of Orthodox and Apostolic Churches, an international communion of ancient and modern Churches united in the doctrine and practice of the undivided Church of the first millennium. Our synod includes Bishops Gregory (Great Britain), Jamil (Chicago), Paul (Singapore), Aries (Manila), Philip (Raleigh), and Joseph (East Asia), ensuring our connection to the ancient patriarchates through our Ukrainian Orthodox orders.
Our parishes practice Western Rite, Anglican Rite, and Eastern Rite liturgies, united by a shared commitment to the Seven Ecumenical Councils, the Nicene Creed, and the rejection of heresies such as the Filioque, Papal Supremacy, and Protestant innovations. We welcome Roman Catholics through a Statement of Faith and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, fostering ecumenical dialogue while remaining steadfastly Orthodox. Join us in this vibrant communion, where the Anglican Patrimony enriches the universal Church.
